APRN BootCamp 201

August 3, 2019

This educational program will help both the novice and experienced nurse practitioner document and code visits in a way to most accurately bill for services.  In this 6-hour program, the basics of documentation to encompass both RAF (Risk Adjustment Factor) and HCC (hierarchical condition category) will be covered.

Following a discussion of RAF and HCC documentation, participants will learn the basics of coding:  choosing an E & M code, selecting CPT codes, charging by time vs. diagnostic complexity and decision-making, and using modifiers.

There will be sufficient time to practice documentation and coding using case studies of varying complexity.   The day will wrap up with the process of billing, including what happens after you submit your “Superbill” to the time that your practice is paid for your services.

ISAPN Midwest Conference

October 24-26, 2019

The APRN Midwest Conference is a 3 day program developed by APRN’s for APRN’s.

This annual meeting is the largest in the state of Illinois. It combines topical conference sessions that cover pressing issues across clinical, professional and legislative topics as well as a unique opportunity to network with APRN’s from all practice areas (CNP, CNS, CNM & CRNA.)

The profession is changing rapidly and ISAPN works hard to make sure that its members are provided with the best educational programs and the Continuing Education credits necessary to satisfy all license requirements.

AND now, more than ever, APRN’s are entrepreneurs and business leaders. No matter what APRN practice area, our goal is to offer what is needed for professional growth.
