Two ISAPN Members Receive AANP Awards

At the 2009 AANP Conference, held at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Conference Center in Nashville, Tennessee, two ISAPN members were honored with awards.  Marie Lindsey and Bridget A Cahill were honored with the prestigious State Awards for Excellence for Illinois.

Marie Lindsey received the AANP State Award for Excellence in Nurse Practitioner Practice, which is awarded for demonstrating excellence in practice, research, NP education or community affairs.  Marie is a charter member of ISAPN and a former President of the Board of Directors, currently serving as Reimbursement Committee Chair.

Bridget A. Cahill received the State Award for Excellence: NP Advocate, which is awarded to those who have made a significant contribution toward increasing awareness and acceptance of NPs.  Bridget is currently the Government Relations/PAC Chair for the ISAPN Board of Directors.
