Over the fall, the NationalAcademy for State Health Policy conducted interviews with leading experts and key stakeholders in six states and surveyed all state Medicaid and Licensing and Certification Agencies to find out how retail clinics fit into the health care delivery system.
As a result, NASHP has just released a report entitled Analysis of State Regulations and Policies Governing the Operation and Licensure of Retail Clinics. This paper highlights the regulatory and licensing tools that states are using to promote, structure, or limit the growth of retail clinics. You can read the full report by following the link below, and you are encouraged to share it with colleagues.
